Froggy is back! And so are the flags. I put mine out on Memorial Day and it stays proudly waving until Vetern's Day. Have a good holiday.

Tutu-roo

I am tooting my own horn about this little beauty. I have temporarily named her Bella. She is a birthday present for a friend's little girl this coming weekend. I loved how she turned out. I tried something new with the way I attach a Babe's hair. The tutu wasn't bad to add, it was the little ballerina slippers that gave me the most trouble. After 3 tries I finally had a pair that fit. I plan to make a carry bag for her and all her possessions.
Such fun!

A babe is born

Guess what I did mother's day weekend? Bella the ballerina was born last night about 7p.m. She is for a friend of mine's 5 year old's birthday. I have the pattern for the babe body - but oops no clothing. I have the book on hold at the library and should be here in plenty of time. A little birdie also tells me I am going to get my own copy for my b-day. yeah!


Greta is happy to have a pal, even if it is just for a short while.

p.s. - I love how she is holding a little sheep :-)

very tired

Heavy data entry days at work make for little knitting nights. Ouch - my wrists!


A tiny sweater on size 00 needles with #10 crochet cotton. I think I will let someone else do the knitting on this one.....

After all, it is for her! ;-)

The Child's Placket Neck Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts is all done.

I loved every minute of this knit. Leftover yarn + free pattern = WOW FO!
